IOP provides behavioral health services for adults with co-occurring substance use and behavioral health problems. The program runs for 3 hours a day, a minimum of 4 days a week, and is offered to individuals who would benefit from a structured treatment setting.

The IOP focus is to reduce symptoms, improve overall functioning, prevent loss of independent or supportive living arrangements, prevent relapse, reduce substance use, and avoid hospitalization. Services are provided according to a treatment plan developed directly with the client. IOP often includes Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and offers male, female, and co-ed bilingual groups.
