CMHA offers a continuum of services dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals in Connecticut. CMHA is headquartered in New Britain, with 10 locations throughout the city and Waterbury. We provide treatment for more than 7,300 children, adolescents, and adults each year -- but are always striving to do more.

CMHA offers a continuum of services dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals living with behavioral health and/or substance use disorders. Providing comprehensive treatment for more than 7,300 children, adolescents, and adults annually has taught us that improving the quality of life for the individual also betters our community.

Addiction can have a profoundly negative impact on all areas of your life, from the ability to function on a daily basis to your interpersonal relationships. However, you don't have to face it alone. When you're ready, so are we.

CMHA has worked tirelessly over the years to provide quality, life-changing care to people in our community. In June 2019, one of the agency's long-standing missions was realized and Team Time Social Club, a state-of-the-art space, was completed. The Social Club is an ideal representation of everything CMHA stands for - offering clients a safe and welcoming space to learn and grow, foster independence, and encourage autonomy.
