Message from the President & CEO

For over 50 years, CMHA has been dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals and families across Connecticut. As one of the state’s largest and most comprehensive behavioral health care providers, we deliver compassionate, evidence-based mental health and addiction services to more than 7,300 children, adolescents, and adults every year.

At CMHA, we believe that every person deserves access to high-quality, respectful, and responsive care. With a full continuum of services offered in welcoming and accessible locations throughout Central and Northwest Connecticut, we are proud to be both the provider of choice for those we serve and the employer of choice for passionate professionals in the human services field.

As CMHA continues to grow with renewed strength and momentum, I’m honored to lead an organization that is deeply committed to healing, hope, and long-term recovery. Our team works every day to support individuals on their path to wellness, and we invite you to join us in this vital mission. Whether you’re seeking support, exploring career opportunities, or looking for ways to give back, we welcome you to be part of the CMHA community. Together, we can ensure that every Connecticut resident in need of mental health or addiction services receives the care they deserve.

Grace Cavallo, LCSW | President & CEO
