NEW BRITAIN – CMHA is proud to announce a donation of $50,000 from its Board of Directors Chairman Todd DeGroff for renovations to CMHA’s new home at 233 Main Street in downtown New Britain.
DeGroff presented CMHA President and CEO Raymond J. Gorman with a check for $10,000 last week, the first installment of a five-year commitment that will total $50,000. CMHA purchased the building in September of 2018, and will be able to reduce operating costs across programs while streamlining services and providing more coordinated care to clients.
“Beacon is proud to support CMHA and its efforts to improve the lives of individuals to find recovery from mental illness and addiction,” DeGroff said. “We look forward to opening another location in [the] building in the Summer of 2019."
DeGroff, left, presented the check with Beacon Pharmacy Manager Karen D’Arco last week.
“Beacon Prescriptions in New Britain is committed to the community of New Britain and its surrounding towns that we serve,” he added. “CMHA provides much needed services to these communities and we are proud to be a part of CMHA's mission to improve the quality of life for individuals with mental illness in CT.”
